Gold Keys is a free travel-deals letter, sent by email and shown in the Gold Keys app. This page says what we keep about you, why, and how to leave. Questions go to [email protected].

What we keep

• Your email address.
• Where you joined (this site or an app), and when you joined, confirmed or left.
• Whether your confirmation email went out, so a failed send can be retried.

We don’t ask for a password, payment details or anything else.

Why

To send you the issue you asked for, by email and in the app. Each issue carries a few clearly marked ads, but advertisers never receive your address, and we don’t sell or rent it to anyone.

Joining

Joining takes two steps: you enter your address, then confirm it from the email we send. Until you confirm, we send you nothing else.

To stop abuse of the signup form, your connection’s IP address is held in memory for up to fifteen minutes. It is never saved with your membership. Like any website, our web servers also keep standard access logs (IP address, browser, page requested) for security.

How long

As long as you’re a member. If you leave, we keep your address marked as unsubscribed so we never email you again by mistake. Ask us and we’ll delete it entirely.

• Write to [email protected] to see what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted.
